Bob Wickless

Bob Wickless earned a BA in English from the University of Maryland and a Master’s from The Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins, where he was a teaching fellow. He is one of only three poets to have work appear in all five editions of  Orchard Street’s annual poetry journal, Quiet Diamonds. His poems have been widely published in journals and reviews, including: American Scholar, Antietam Review, Antioch Review, Poet & Critic, Shenandoah, and Southern Indiana Review. A full-length collection was both runner-up for the Lena Shull Book Award in 2021 and a finalist for the Gerald Cable Award in 2022. His chapbooks, Almost Happy, (2020) and (riding) shotgun in imaginary cars, (2021), are both available from Orchard Street. Bob was the winner of the 2020 winner of the Malovrh-Fenlon  Poetry Prize. He lives in Reidsville, NC.
