Nancy Cavers Dougherty is the author of three other chapbooks (Tape Recorder On, Memory in Salt, and Levee Town) as well as the collaborative work, Silk. Her poetry has appeared in many journals and anthologies, including Westview, California Quarterly, The Pinch, descant, I-70 Review,The Timberline Review, West Marin Review, Redwood Writers 2021 Poetry Anthology, and Quiet Diamonds. Nancy lives in Sebastopol, California, where she supports programs like a homeless shelter for women, teen counseling services, and art-making in group settings. Her love of the creative arts goes back to her childhood in Massachusetts and continues today with explorations of the interweaving of music, visual arts, and the written word. Her favorite pastimes are playing the cello and doing arts projects with her two grandchildren.
